"We become Dr. energy saving!" We aimed at becoming it in a summer vacation together.

Golden eggs of Dr. energy saving gathered in Sendai Media take on July 19!!

This day, Golden eggs = 17 participant of "Summer vacation freedom study support plan! We become Dr. energy saving!" gathered. It is environmental NGOMiyage / environment and life / network developing wide activity in Miyagi that sponsored this plan (MELON).

Ms.Hoshiwa Yoshiko in charge of "the energy saving spread business" that utilized an environmental household account book in MELON said , "The free study of a summer vacation was depressed for me. Therefore I tried to think. Children can carry it out in spite of being pleasure, and it is for it to be supported a free study" " When domestic energy saving makes a child a leader and does it, it is good. As for this plan, both a family and the earth can be gentle while completing a free study. There are a lot of good things, aren't there?.

It is a participation object from a fifth grader to a junior high school third grader. Mr.Shuichi Miura of Assistant Professor northeastern art college of engineering made an effort for "Golden eggs", too.

Mr.Miura talked about energy-saving necessity and importance so that they aimed at "Dr. energy saving" on that day. It is a serious affair to doctors! On July 26, the Miyagi continuation earthquake that three times of seismic intensity 6 was observed in 1 day occurred! On the third day when children started energy saving learning in their home, it was a blackout house of Chiba built close to the epicenter. Eco-watt (simple model consumption wattmeter) has returned to "0". But the crops seem to have been more than a free study.

At the time of earthquake, I was to repeat an eco-watt from a beginning for a blackout. However, my mother said "When you do not use electricity, put it out.","Reduce the time of play on game, and play outside."until now. I understood that these were effective in energy saving. Though I had trouble with my examining it very much, what a thing of an incandescence ball and a fluorescence lamp was able to study was interesting.

A message from mother of Chiba

This time, I thank you in what this learning society taught my son of very carefree character to very much. He came to act while saying "We had better put out electricity of a corridor" extremely naturally after participating in this Learning society. When my husband said "If it is a little time, electricity may be turned on", the son retorted with "Because it did not lead to energy saving, it had better delete electricity". When I watched it, I was really glad.
I considered him to be he acted for he wants to be praised by me and other somebody until now. But this time led to he gets possible to he thought by himself and came to act. Thank you.

This learning that we began by noticing it While all the members imagine various things each, we try to really reduce time doing a game in a house and it is changed the number that an eco-watt and a watt hour meter show that they put out electricity. We experienced it, and this time was tied to a good result. I am glad that you get possible to live while you think about the earth in a point of a switch.
