There is a thing named "Enter here hut" in Izumicho, Tokishi, Gifu.
This was planned as a part of a central town area commerce activation promotion business of Tokishi. And this is a trial that availability will utilize an empty house with the decline of station square shopping district.
In Toki-shi Life school which I work at with a representative , we held "Parent and child [ An environmental private supplementary school ] " in a summer vacation.
I divide the whole into three times, I raised participation with parent and child because it is an opportunity learning environment around oneself and energy-saving significance.
The first is July 26.
Then, after the environmental private supplementary school opening of a school type, Mr.Morikawa of Chubu Electric Power of a lecturer gave a story to Part 1 about the energy use situation of a developed nation and a prediction of deposits about "earth environment and resources energy".
Part 2 "Let's examine vegetables and carbon dioxide by transportation of food". I made imminent food transportation an example and calculated energy to them, after adapted itself to mechanism of global warming, and having understood energy-saving importance from now toward the future , about how can you restrain outbreak of carbon dioxide.
The appetite materials which we always eat, but whether it had been carried a thing of a hometown by other prefectures or it came from a foreign country. How much carbon dioxide appears till I obtain it? They refer to other prefectures and between Gifu or other countries and a list of distance between Tokyo to understand it and calculate.
Through this, They learned that it led to restraint of carbon dioxide to choose a local thing in season.
The second, August 6, "Try to examine a creature of a river"
With upper reaches / down stream of the Hida river which is a branch of Toki River, three places of Toki River, we conducted an investigation into water and a creature, but water temperature was the habitation situation of a creature, too, but a difference became clear.
Even if a problem in life was a few state, we realized necessity of water purification.
The third, August 9, We were to survey carbon dioxide absorption
of an environmental tree, but was called off by an approach of typhoon
10 unwillingly. This problem was to check the time.
However, the person who knew that energy saving in life was tied
to earth environment turned into an action with it.The opportunity
began with "Enter here hut".
